SERODIA TP•PA (Passive Particle Agglutination Test)
From Fujirebio Diagnostics, Inc., the original developer of the micro-hemagglutination Treponema pallidum (T. pallidum) assay, comes SERODIA®-TP•PA, a convenient, sensitive, and specific Passive Particle agglutination test for the detection of antibodies to Treponema pallidum. A clinical comparison of SERODIA-TP•PA, FTA-ABS, VDRL, and Western blot were performed. In a specificity test, SERODIA-TP•PA showed a 100% match on 128 individuals with known lack of treponemal infection, whereas FTA-ABS showed 7 out of 128 with a false positive1.

SERODIA-AMC and SERODIA-ATG (Microtiter Particle Agglutination Test Kits for Detection and Titration of Thyroid Autoantibodies)
SERODIA-AMC is a semiquantitative assay for the detection of anti-microsomal antibodies in human plasma or serum. The assay utilizes gelatin particles sensitized with microsomal antigen, extracted and purified from human thyroid tissue.
SERODIA-ATG is a semiquantitative assay for the detection of antithyroglobulin antibodies in human plasma or serum. The assay utilizes gelatin particles sensitized with thyroglobulin, extracted and purified from human thyroid tissue.
The presence of antithyroglobulin and anti-microsomal antibodies is abnormal, and is an indication of thyroid autoimmune disease. SERODIA-AMC and SERODIA-ATG are two important tests that can be used in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disease.
