ACE Color (Colorimetric Assay for the Quantitation of Angiotensin Converting Enzyme [ACE] Activity in Human Serum)
Measurement of the activity of ACE in human serum is useful for the clinical diagnosis of sarcoidosis, Gaucher's disease, and certain other chronic lung diseases. The ACE Color Test is a colorimetric assay for the quantitation of serum ACE activity by a three-step reaction process. The simplified ACE Color procedure provides accurate, precise test results that correlate well with standard laboratory methods.
