Paul Touhey
President and CEO
Paul brings more than 27 years of industry experience to Fujirebio Diagnostics, Inc., where he is responsible for the company’s growth and business direction in the competitive in vitro diagnostics industry.
Paul joined Fujirebio Diagnostics, formerly Centocor Diagnostics, in 1985, and has held a variety of positions including senior vice president of operations. He played a central role during the company’s transition to Fujirebio in 1998, retaining Centocor’s staff, expertise, and culture.
Prior to joining Fujirebio Diagnostics, Paul worked for Johnson & Johnson in a variety of positions with increasing levels of responsibility and management.
Paul is a former chairman of the Medical Device Manufacturers Association, a national trade association representing the entrepreneurial sector of the medical device industry in the United States. He is also a member of the FDA/Industry Grass Roots Task Force, serves on the board of the Pennsylvania Biotech Association, and is a board member of Community Volunteers in Medicine, an organization that provides medical care to the working poor.
Paul received his BA in political science from Temple University.
